Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a learning enhancement program targeting historically difficult courses.
***Supplemental Instruction will not take place during Pre-Finals week or during Finals Week.
SI Leaders are students who have already taken the identified course and received an A. After training, SI Leaders host weekly study sessions focused on collaborative learning to review course concepts and integrate what to learn with how to learn. Additionally, SI Leaders hold "office hours" in the Academic Development Center to focus on group tutoring. An important component of Supplemental Instruction is that it covers course material in sessions as the material is presented in class and is open to all students currently enrolled in the targeted courses.
