- Q1: Why you should consider an LLP?

- Q2: When can I apply for an LLP?A2: Once you’ve been accepted to OSU, you can apply for LLPs through your admissions portal. The priority consideration is from October 1 through February 1. In additon to apply to be in an LLP, you must also register for housing. Visit Registration on how to register.
- Q3: How do I access the LLP application from my admissions portal?Step 1: Log into the Oklahoma State Application Portal (https://orange.okstate.edu/account).Step 2: Navigate to the Housing tab on the portal.Step 3: Access the LLP application by clicking "Register for an LLP Now."Step 4: Complete the LLP application by selecting which programs you are interested in and then fill out each section. Each LLP has different questions that must be completed. Some sections are based on your academic college and Honors College status.Step 5: You can go back in and update your LLP application at any time.Step 6: LLP Match Day is March 31. You will receive an email with information about your placement into an LLP.
- Q4: Can I apply to more than one LLP? A4: Yes. You can apply to multiple LLPs by completing the application section for each LLP you are interested in. You can save and return to edit your application as often as needed. However, you can only be placed in one LLP. By submitting your LLP application, you agree to live within its designated LLP space.
- Q5: Does completing the LLP application mean that I have been accepted into the program? A5: No. The LLP coordinators will process the applications and make determinations.
- Q6: How do I know if I have been accepted into an LLP? A6: New for the 2025-2026 academic year is Match Day. On Monday, March 31, 2025, or Match Day, you will receive an email letting you know which LLP has selected you to be part of their community.
- Q7: I have been accepted for an LLP. What do I do next? A7: First, if you haven't done so, you must also register for housing. Log in Housing Registration (via OSU Housing Portal). Next, visit the Hall Finder and explore your new home. Your LLP has a hall and/or a floor dedicated to it. This is where your room will be located. The Hall Finder includes room and hall amenities and much more.
- Q8: Is it necessary to complete both the housing registration and the LLP application? A8: Yes. The LLP application notifies program coordinators that you want to live in that community. The housing registration is where you notify OSU Housing and Residential Life that you want to live on campus for the upcoming academic year. Log in Housing Registration (via OSU Housing Portal).
- Q9: Does my roommate have to be a member of the LLP as well? A9: The short answer is yes. LLPs are designed for students with similar interests to live in a designated area. Any exceptions must be approved by the LLP coordinator and communicated to OSU Housing and Residential Life.
- Q10: Who is the coordinator for my LLP and how can I contact them?A10: Each LLP coordinator's contact information is posted on its ResLIfe's webpage.
- Q11: Can I stay in an LLP after my first year? A11: Unless you are a peer mentor for the LLP, the only programs that are open to incoming first-year freshmen and returning students are Global Scholars and Honors.
- Q12: When will I be notified of my room assignment?A12: You will receive an email with your room assignment between April 21 and April 23.
