Steps for New Registration

New children have to be enrolled to attend classes. If you would like your child(ren) to participate in classes, follow the steps detailed below. Both steps must be completed before a child can attend programs at the FRC. Children will be given a spot in programs based on availability and the timely completion of the steps.

  1. Complete the Registration for Children's Programs Form. (one form can be completed for all children you would like to enroll.)
  2. Email Bailey Winters to schedule an enrollment appointment at the FRC to finalize enrollment for all Kindergarten Kids Club, After School Adventures, Energize, and Teen Club. Email Naisha Robinson to finalize enrollment for Toddler Time. After this appointment, enrollment will be complete and you will be notified when your child can start attending classes.

Children cannot attend programs until both of the steps above are complete. Children will be given a spot in programs based on availability and the timely completion of the steps.

Class Descriptions

  • Playtime & Storytime (Suggested ages 0-3)

This program is for children and their parents to attend together, so children do not have to be enrolled to attend this event. Parents can show up with children at the designated time. The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for children to play with their parents and/or other children in a guided learning environment. Play is essential for your child's development as it promotes creativity and cognitive, emotional, and physical strength. It also acts as a catalyst to foster a great attachment between parent and child! The activities offered in this program include a group story read by a staff member or parent volunteer and then a language arts or craft activity related to the book.

  • Toddler Time (ages 2-3)

The purpose of this program is to teach children social skills and to provide quality learning experiences. The children will participate in a variety of activities including story and group time, arts & crafts and many other fun and developmentally appropriate activities.

  • Kindergarten Kids Club (PreK-K)

This program assists children in their transition from home to the classroom environment in preparation for entry to public school. The children will participate in a variety of activities including language arts and English instruction, arts and crafts, outdoor play and a variety of other fun activities.

  • After School Adventures (1st-2nd grade)

The goal of this program is to provide students with a meaningful afterschool experience in the form of fun activities, crafts, games, and exploration that they would not normally have in school. Club Time: All children participating in After School Adventures will automatically be enrolled in one of our uniquely designed club times to enhance knowledge though in-depth hands on experiences.

  • Energize (3rd-5th grade)

The goal of this program is to provide students with a meaningful afterschool experience in the form of fun activities, crafts, games, and exploration that they would not normally have in school. Club Time: All children participating in After School Adventures will automatically be enrolled in one of our uniquely designed club times to enhance knowledge though in-depth hands on experiences.

  • Teen Club (6th-12th grade)
