Located next to the Pattillo Community Center, Peterson-Friend Halls are home to approximately 210 students. The two buildings form a U-shape around a central courtyard, providing a welcoming community atmosphere.

Units offer apartment-style living with private bedrooms, private or shared bathrooms, a living room, a full-size kitchen and an in-unit washer and dryer.

While the buildings are coed, each apartment is same-gender. All units are fully furnished and leased on a nine-month, academic-year basis.

The halls are named in honor of long-serving veterinary medicine faculty Dr. Duane Peterson and Dr. Jonathan D. Friend. Together with Kamm Hall, these buildings form the KPF Neighborhood.
