Housing and Residential Life provides free laundry facilities for residents in all residence halls, University Laundry, Brumley Laundry and the in-unit washer/dryer sets in deluxe apartments.
Community Laundry Rooms
Our upgraded laundry system offers energy-efficient washers and dryers along with the Speed Queen mobile app that lets you check machine availability before heading to the laundry room.

Step 1: Download Speed Queen App
Download the app from Google Play or App Store
- View available washers and dryers in real time
- Receive notifications when your laundry cycle is complete
- Report machine issues
- Access customer support
If you notice a water leak or another facility issue, contact HRL Facilities and Maintenance at 405-744-8510.

Step 2: Wash your clothes
- Fill washer three-fourths full
- Add only one-quarter cap of detergent
- Select machine in the app
- Select your cycle on the machine
- Select Start on the machine

Step 3: Dry your clothes
- Transfer one washer load into the dryer
- Load dryer three-fourths full
- Clean the lint filter before starting the dryer
- Select your drying cycle
- Press Start

Deluxe Apartments
- Fill the washer no more than three-fourths full.
- Use the recommended amount of detergent.
- Clean the dryer lint filter before each load.
- Use the Speed Queen App to report machine issues and to access customer service.
