Resident Assistants (RAs)
Resident assistants (RAs) are student leaders who make a difference in the lives of fellow Cowboys. Under the supervision of a hall director (HD), RAs serve as peer mentors, providing advocacy, guidance and support while helping create welcoming, environment for the residence hall/neighborhood communities.
Being an RA is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to build leadership skills, gain valuable professional experience and form lasting connections. RAs play a key role in shaping the on-campus experience for residents, and in return receive housing and a meal plan as part of their remuneration.
Discover why students choose to become RAs and how you can make an impact with OSU Housing and Residential Life.
