What is an LLP

Living Learning Programs (LLP) are specialized living environments where students live with peers who have similar academic interests, identities or hobbies .Each LLP is unique, incorporating academically based themes and building community through common learning and interests.


Why LLPs Benefit Students

Retention is increased as students make meaningful connections and feel supported. Higher academic achievement occurs when students are connected and exposure to faculty.


Steps to Create a New LLP

 

Step 1: To Begin

    • Gauge interest
    • Talk to peers
    • Determine the need

Step 2: To Plan

    • Outline goals
    • Find a location
    • Determine Requirements

Step 3: To Achieve

    • Recruit students
    • Select advisers
