Cowboy Carriers
Fall 2026
At Oklahoma State University, we believe the way we welcome students reflects who we are as a campus and a community. Move-In is one of the first opportunities to help new students and their families feel at home and experience the Cowboy family from the moment they arrive.
Why volunteer?
Because Cowboys help Cowboys.
Because a true Cowboy shows up ready to serve.
Because every smile, greeting and helping hand helps students feel supported, valued and connected from day one.
That's what being a Cowboy Carrier is all about.
Help welcome the next generation of Cowboys
On Aug. 12-13, Housing and Residential Life will welcome thousands of new students and their families during Fall Move-In. Cowboy carriers assist students by helping unload vehicles, carrying belongings to residence halls and creating a positive first impression of Oklahoma State and the Stillwater community.
Whether you're a student, faculty member or staff member, your time, energy and smile make a lasting difference.
Join us in giving our newest Cowboys the warm welcome they deserve.
