What Residents are Saying...

Close friends and roommates

Two girls sitting on a bed laughing as they read a book.

"I began living on campus as a transfer student, and it was the best thing I could have done. My roommates and the friends I made in my dorm are still some of my closest friends at OSU."

"I enjoy living in Village B because I get my own space while still having a roommate."

"Last year I lived in an LLP and got to know my floor residents well enough to be friends with them. It gave me a sense of community."

Community

5 girls smiling at the camera.

"I am a CM in Wentz Hall. I love being able to curate a sense of community among my floors and throughout the building. It brings me so much joy to see these girls grow close to one another as the year goes on."

"Being able to stay connected with others while being so close to everything on campus."

"I enjoy living in Stinchcomb, because you still get the feeling of living in a dorm when you run into people in the hallways and such, but you also get your own space to unwind and not worry about bothering your roommate!"

"I love living in Village F for the community feel and meeting the people on my floor."

"I came here not knowing anyone at all, and after living in Bennett my freshman year I know almost half the people in Bennett."

Convenient

Students walking outside of the Residents Halls.

"I enjoy living in Bennett Hall because of how close it is to Boone Pickens! Game days are always so convenient and fun because we are less than a two-minute walk to the game."

"Not having a car can be hard in college towns like Stillwater but being so close to the library and everything else helps a lot."

"Quickly getting to class and never having to waste my car's gas. Enjoy living next to Adam Market and North Dining."

"I live on campus because it's easier than living off campus. I came back for a sophomore year because scholarships cover the cost of living on campus instead of paying out of pocket. You are also closer to the campus and then you have the community of OSU on the inside."

Dining Services

Students form a line to order food in the dining hall.

"Having a meal plan! Living with and meeting friends! I was in an LLP last year and that made me feel such a sense of connection. Also, love the in-hall activities."

"The Fast Break at Bennett Hall has the best milkshakes!"

Events and activities

A few girls are dancing and smiling and having a good time as they listen to music with glowsticks all over them

"I enjoy living in North Commons because they always have something for us to do. The CMs in this building are amazing and always provide us with activities such as bracelet-making, self-care bags and movie nights. Plus, big events are always happening in the Commons Lawn so you never feel left out."

"I loved the events! They are often held on the Commons Lawn for easy access."

Loving Iba Hall

4 girls post for a selfie as the one in the front takes it.

"I love Iba Hall. The location was perfect, being so close to not only classes, but also the dining halls, campus doctor, gym, and other helpful places the campus has to offer. For the prices compared to other dorms, it was really nice. There were never any issues with the cleanliness of anything, the bathrooms were always well-maintained. There were lots of community events offered which was a nice way to attempt to get to know neighbors. And the amenities offered were really helpful, such as the free laundry and the large kitchen."

No stress billing

3 girls hold "go pokes" hands up as they smile at the camera.

"Being able to live on my own without stressing about monthly rent. "
