Fall 2025 Move-In Days
Be sure to visit the OSU Housing Portal to select your move-in appointment time.
- Monday, August 11 (Sorority Recruitment. Check in at your hall's service desk.)
- Tuesday, August 12 (Admitted Students Day)
- Wednesday, August 13 and Thursday, August 14 (General Move-In)
- Thursday, August 14 (One on 4th) Review check-in process.

Fall 2025 Check-In Instructions
Check back throughout the summer for updated information.
- Residents will select their move-in appointment (once room assignments are confirmed) via the OSU Housing Portal.
- When arriving on campus, go to your designated check-in location to complete the paperwork and receive your room key. Please bring your student ID, driver’s license or government ID.
- Exception Aug. 11:Sorority Recruitment. Check in at your hall's service desk.
- Start yourRoom Occupancy Checklist (ROC)before moving personal items into the room. For instructions and information about how the ROC can affect your bursar bill, go to theRoom Occupancy Checklistwebpage.
- You may move your items into your room any time after your check-in has been completed.
- While moving your items to your room, follow all signs and loading zone directions.
- Look for hall staff or volunteers for help.
- When you are finished unloading, move your vehicle(s) to a designated parking lot so someone else can use the loading zone.
- For security reasons, be sure to keep your room locked during move-in because the residence halls will be open for extended periods.
