ResLife Scholarships
ResLife is excited to offer 14 awards, valued at more than $68,00, as part of the Leader-Scholar Scholarship Program.
- Available for students who live in Housing and Residential Life. Student staff members are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

STUDENT AFFAIRS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Jay Jones Residence Hall Association Scholarship
The recipient will be a full-time student at Oklahoma State University. Selection
will be based on demonstrated leadership and service to the residence halls, the University
and the community, as well as high academic achievement.
The Village Endowed Scholarship
The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at Oklahoma State University
and must currently reside in the Village on-campus student housing and be returning
to the Village the following year unless graduating. Preference shall be given to
Construction Management majors, but all residents are encouraged to apply.
Capstone Residential Life Endowed Scholarship
Recipients must meet the following criteria for scholarship consideration: 1) live
in the residence hall for which the scholarship is named; 2) minimum cumulative 2.5
grade point average; 3) full-time OSU undergraduate student; 4) demonstrate leadership
skills through involvement in residence hall activities.
RHA Leader-Scholar Endowed Scholarship
The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at
Oklahoma State University. The recipient must currently be living in Residential Life
housing and be returning to Residential Life housing the following semester, with
the exception of graduating seniors. Applicants must complete the application for
this scholarship that is distributed by Residential Life.
Kent Sampson Endowed Scholarship
The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at Oklahoma State University.
Applicants must be currently residing in campus housing, including Family and Graduate
Student Housing. The award is open to graduating seniors and graduate students. All
other applicants must be returning to campus housing. The recipient must have a cumulative
grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Lewis B. and Betty Ketchum Scholarship
The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at the University and must be
a United States citizen. The recipient must be a freshman or sophomore student and
will receive an award in the amount of $2,000 to assist with housing costs.
Dr. Rebecca Adcock Memorial Scholarship
The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at Oklahoma State University.
Selection will be based on demonstrated leadership and service to the residence hall
house/floor in which the recipient held a leadership role, as well as service to the
University and the community. High academic achievement shall also be taken into
consideration Recipients may receive the scholarship consecutively, provided he/she
continues to be nominated each year. The number of awards and the amount of each
award will be determined annually by the Selection Committee.
Steve Rogers Scholarship
The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at the University. Preference
will be given to students who live in campus housing.
Jay and Heidi Mittag Scholarship
The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at the University and must be
an incoming freshman. The recipient must be enrolled in the College of Agricultural
Sciences and Natural Resources, must be a resident of the State of Oklahoma and have
documented financial need. To be eligible for the award, the recipient must be a resident
of Kerr, Drummond, Iba, Parker or Wentz residence halls. The award is renewable for
four years provided the recipient continues to meet the selection criteria.
LeeAnna Lamb Residential Life Endowed Scholarship
The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at the University. Selection
will be based on demonstrated leadership and service to the residence hall in which
the person lives, as well as service to the university and the community. High academic
achievement shall be taken into consideration. A minimum grade point average of 2.75
is required. The recipient must be returning to the residence halls to receive this
award. However, a graduating senior may also be eligible for this award.
Centennial Scholarship Housing and Residential Life Endowment
The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at the university. Applicants
must write an essay on a topic chosen by the selection committee as part of the application
process. Incoming high school grade point averages, ACT scores, and financial needs
will be taken into consideration during the selection process.
Wentz Housing Scholarship
The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at the university and must reside
in University housing. The recipient must be classified as a freshman or sophomore-level
student, have a grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and documented
financial need.
Holly McCoy Endowed Legacy Scholarship
The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at the university and must reside
in on-campus student housing. The recipient must be planning to return to on-campus
housing the following year unless graduating. Demonstrated leadership and service
to the residence hall in which the person lives as well as involvement in residential
life activities will be taken into consideration by the Selection Committee. The recipient
must have documented financial need. The size of the award and number of awards may
be determined at the discretion of the Selection Committee.
Demarest Leader Scholar Award Fund
The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time graduate or undergraduate student with
a classification of junior or above studying Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic
Arts or Landscape Architecture at Oklahoma State University. Recipient must have a
grade point average higher than 3.0 and have demonstrated leadership in the Oklahoma
State University residential hall system.
