Desk assistants help connect residents with full-time staff; check out games and sports equipment; assist with locked outs, lost and found, lost keys; manage mail and package distribution; and report maintenance issues; and more.

Fall/Thanksgiving Break 2026
Desk hours for Nov. 21 through Nov. 29. Regular desk hours resume Sunday, Nov. 29, unless otherwise stated.
- Most desks will close Saturday, Nov. 21 at midnight and reopen Sunday, Nov. 29 at 8 a.m.
- Exceptions include:
- Family Resource Center is closed beginning Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 8 p.m. and reopens Monday, Nov. 30 at 8 a.m.
- Village A Desk is open 24/7 all of break.
- Hours for the Griffith Community Center Desk starting Saturday, Nov. 21 ending Sunday, Nov. 29:
- Weekdays: Open at 8 a.m. to midnight
- Weekends: Open from noon to midnight
- Family Resource Center is closed beginning Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 8 p.m. and reopens Monday, Nov. 30 at 8 a.m.
- Thanksgiving Day Weekend: Village A and the Griffith Community Center desks will close Wednesday, Nov 25 at midnight and reopen Friday, Nov. 27 at 8 a.m.
Winter Break 2026-27
Desk hours for Saturday, Dec. 12 through Sunday, Jan. 10, 2027. Regular hours resume Sunday, Jan. 10, 2027, unless otherwise stated.
- Exptions include:
- Family Resource Center is closed beginning Thursday, Dec. 24 at 8 p.m. and reopens Monday, Jan. 4 at 8 a.m.
