Spring 2025

Note: Information below may be updated as needed. All activities close at 11:59 p.m. unless otherwise noted. 

• (Dec. 1 at 10 a.m.) Housing registration opens Sunday, December 1 for both incoming first-year freshmen and current OSU students needing to register for OSU Housing for Spring 2025. 
  • Deposit Information
    • Admitted, incoming first-year students must submit the $300 enrollment deposit to register for housing.
    • For transfer students and others needing housing, there is a $200 payment, payable in advance, for a housing lease. 
  • To start the registration process, log in Housing Registration (via OSU Housing Portal).
  • Students will rank housing styles (traditional, suites, deluxe suites and apartments).
  • Visit the Hall Finder to learn about room types, floor plans, hall/room amenities, rates and more.
• (Week of Dec. 16) Room assignments for spring housing are sent to OSU email addresses.
  • Room assignments are emailed to your OSU email address throughout December.
  • If you have not received your room assignment by Monday, January 6, contact reslife@okstate.edu
• (Jan. 5) Last day to cancel and receive a partial deposit refund of $150.
  • To cancel housing registration, submit a Request to Cancel (form) to request to have your room assignment canceled.

• (Jan. 10-12) Spring Move-In Days
  • Go to the appropriate Desk Services location to pick up your keys.

  • Visit Financial Responsibility for fines, fees and charges concerning check-in.
• (Jan. 29) Last day to submit Housing Exemption Request for the Freshman Residency Requirement for spring.
  • Go to the Housing Exemption Request (form) for more information.
• (By May 10 at noon) Spring Move-Out Days
  Review Move-Out Overview for detailed information.

  • Move-out must be completed 24 hours after OSU's last finals (Saturday, May 10 at noon).
  • Graduating seniors have until Sunday, May 11 at 1 p.m. to move out.
  • Visit Financial Responsibility for fines, fees and charges concerning checkout.
