Help students move in for Fall 24
Calling for Cowboy Carriers

Cowboy Carriers are a Cowboy tradition! Once again, OSU Housing and Residential Life is calling for volunteers to help residents move into their rooms by welcoming students and families, unloading vehicles, carrying items, holding doors open and managing carts.
Volunteers are needed from Monday, August 12 through Thursday, August 15 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at six residence halls. The first 200 volunteers will receive a $10 voucher for North Dining Concepts.
To be a Cowboy Carrier volunteer, add your name to the SignUpGenius roster.

Independence Day Hours

Independence Day is Thursday, July 4. This is an official OSU holiday, so all Housing and Residential Life Offices are closed on July 4 and July 5, 2024.
The Family Resource Center will be closed on Thursday and Friday, and the Shopping Shuttle will not run.
Fireworks
Setting off fireworks inside Stillwater city limits is illegal.
OSU Energy Saving
On Independence Day, remember these important steps for energy savings:
- Turn off all possible electronic equipment, including computers, monitors, speakers, printers, etc.
- Unplug items such as fans, chargers, radios, and appliances, like coffeemakers.
- Close blinds and tilt the slats upwards.
- Remember that temperatures may be warmer than normal as AC may not be scheduled in some areas.
- As always, turn off lights as you leave.

Parking lot construction by Davis Hall

Parking lot 105NW by Davis Hall is being resurfaced. Construction expected to last a few weeks. Residents in Davis, Sitlington and Morsani-Smith will be affected.
Juneteenth Hours

Deadline is Wednesday, May 1
FGSH Residents: Time to update leasing status

If you live in the Family and Graduate Student (FGSH) Neighborhoods, it is time to update your leasing status. The deadline is Wednesday, May 1.
Actions to complete include the following:
- Need to renew your lease for upcoming academic year, visit the OSU Housing Portal.
- Need to renew your lease for summer because you are graduating, visit the OSU Housing Portal and select the "Summer Graduation" option.
- Need to change the primary leaseholder, contact the Community Relations Office (CRO) for approval. Call 405-744-1296 or go to the West Neighborhood, Building 84, Apartment 7.
- If you are moving out, submit the Notice to Vacate (form) by Wednesday, May 1.

Housing Registration
Registration for Summer Housing opens April 15

If you need on-campus summer housing, the OSU Housing Portal opens Monday, April 15. The Assignments Team will email room assignments beginning Monday, April 22.
