Sworn Statement of Commuting Status
Commuter Housing Exemption
Students may request a housing exemption from the Freshman Residency Requirement if they plan to commute and live within a 40-mile radius of OSU with a parent/guardian or a relative.
Requesting a commuter housing exemption is a two-step process with the student and the parent/guardian or relative both submitting the appropriate forms and uploading supporting documentation by the deadline.
