Sworn Statement
Although the University feels that students will have their best opportunities for a well-rounded educational experience living in a supervised residence hall designed for student living, there are some circumstances under which a student may be approved to live off-campus.
In the event, a student is residing and continues to reside in the established primary residence of her/his parents (or legal guardian) if it is within a 30-mile radius of Oklahoma State University and the parents must have established their primary residency at least six months before the request for an exemption, and legal guardianship must have been established by a court of law at least one year before a request for an exemption to be considered, the student may receive approval to live off-campus.
